Shortly after Elden Ring’s director Hidetaka Miyazaki completed his acceptance speech upon receiving the Game of The Year Award for Elden Ring, an unknown kid standing right behind Miyazaki took the mic and made the following statement moments before the event ended. The kid literally dedicated the Game of The Year Award to former US president Bill Clinton. The internet went bonkers, and people were in disbelief at what had just happened; a kid out of nowhere sneaked onto the stage of one of the biggest gaming events, made a statement, and left without elaborating. https://twitter.com/OctaviaVRC/status/1601064867200667648?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1601064867200667648%7Ctwgr%5E47aa4b95c625ff3b7a20ca8310dd1de40a63b1f3%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-3400733403277095172.ampproject.net%2F2211250451000%2Fframe.html

Black hair, dapper little suit, big fan of Bill Clinton. Please return my boy. — Commander Stephanie Sterling (@JimSterling) December 9, 2022

— Otro Camilo (@AnotherCamilo) December 9, 2022 People speculated that the kid surpassed the security with Elden Ring staff and made his way to the stage. While the folks at the event took the joke lightheartedly, the internet was on fire with people declaring the kid the ambassador of the right-wing political parties and abusing the platform to spread his anti-semitic views. People on Twitter even said that he is a Groyper and racist. Amid this, The Game Awards and Bill Clinton were trending on Twitter. However, Geoff Keighley was quick to inform the ongoing bandwagon of memers that the kid had been detained due to the inconvenience he created during the event.
